Never been to a Voice AI Space Meetup? Here's how we run meetups, example from our last one in Barcelona.
The plan:
1️⃣ Doors open - 5pm
Show up, look around, realize you've finally found your people, your not the only one who likes speaking to robots...
2️⃣ Networking - 5pm <=> 6pm
Talk to actual humans, face to face, using your real voice (ironic for a voice AI crowd, we know)
3️⃣ Demos & Talks - 6pm <=> 7pm
Live demos and short talks from brilliant builders.
Matt Coler (University of Groningen) leads a research team working on one of voice AI’s hardest open problems: getting systems to understand not just what people say, but what they mean. Sarcasm is a useful lens for probing the limits of pragmatic inference — combining speech, text, and vision to catch what any single channel misses
Thomas Kluiters, Head of AI at Local Voice AI Champion Reson8will tell us more about their vision in Voice AI for Healthcare and show us more their unique speech recognition capabilities.
Ahmed Mamdouh Khalil - The rise and fall of ASCENSCIA - Lessons learnt from building an AI Voice Assistant for scientific labs.
Kevin Litwiak will vibe code in live with Claude a Voice AI Agent leveraging Vapi capabilities. Kevin will also share some inspiring stories of other Voice AI builders.
Phanos Anastasiou will demo ChickyTutor, an AI language tutor for everyone.
